Longtime Seminole County Resident Lois Marie (Carpitcher) Adachi died on Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK. Lois was born on February 20, 1950 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents Freland & Susie (Albert) Carpitcher. Lois was a homemaker and a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Oklahoma City, OK. She is survived by daughters Sandra Yzaguirre and Christy Fontenot, both of Oklahoma City,OK. and brothers, Jesse Carpitcher of Oklahoma City, OK and Danny Carpitcher of Seattle, Washington. Three sisters, Francis Glenn, Erma Harjo and Carol Carpitcher, all of Oklahoma City, OK.and one grandchild, Desirea Fontenot. Lois is preceded in death by her parents and one son Manuel Yzaguirre. Funeral Services for Lois will be held on Monday, June 22, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Rev. Houston Tiger, Jimsey Harjo and Billy Merritt officiating. Interment will be at Peter Tiger’s Family Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Marco Carpitcher, Oscar Bunner, Donovan Estrada, Jonas Carpitcher, D.J. Battiest, and Johnny Gallegos. Honorary Pallbearers are Jesse Carpitcher, Charles Tiger, JimmyAlbert, Danny Carpitcher, Pete Harjo, Donald Ray Harjo, Woodrow Harjo, Jeremy Aliason, Jay Aliason, Leon Lena, and Nicholas "Phillip" Carter.
