Logon Melvin Ryles, age 66, passed away at his home in Seminole, Oklahoma on September 21, 2020. He was born on May 13, 1954 in Miami, Florida to parents Willie Frank Ryles and Geraldine (Ford) Ryles. Logon grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was a high school graduate and received a Master’s degree from Southern University of New Orleans. He married Ada Jean (Holson) Ryles on June 13, 2005 in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Logon worked as a commercial bus driver for the Greyhound Bus Company. He enjoyed listening to music, watching Family Feud and Wheel of Fortune and visiting with family and friends. He really loved his grandkids. He was a member of Love Chapel COGIC.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Ada Ryles of the home in Seminole, his son; Logon Lewis of Charlotte, North Carolina, his daughter; Melissa Greene and her husband James of Charlotte, North Carolina, his brother; John Wesley Richardson, step-children; Jack Bible, Jr. of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Timothy Bible and his wife Kathy of Holdenville, Oklahoma, Lisa Harrod and her husband Craig of Seminole, Oklahoma, Kristen Bible of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Gina Henning and her husband Allen of Surf city, North Carolina., grandchildren; James Walker Greene, Kinly Jones, Carla Black and Zajahniem "ZaZa" Greene, 15 step-grandchildren and 15 step-greatgrandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Logon Ronald Lewis.
Memorial services for Logon will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 25, 2020 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with Elder B.K. Hardwick officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
