Linda Marie Yott

Linda Marie (Roach) Yott Linda Marie (Roach) Yott, age 68 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma passed away Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Linda was born on April 1, 1943 at St. Louis, Illinois to parents George Roach and Margie (Johnson) Roach. Linda married David Andrew Yott on June 30, 1963 in St. Louis, Illinois. David and Linda moved to Asher from Illinois 48 years ago. Linda worked at Roundhouse Overalls in Shawnee, Oklahoma, Wrangler Plant in Seminole, Oklahoma, and at Big Blue Café, formerly O’Dell’s Restaurant in Asher, Oklahoma. Linda retired at the age of 62 from Magnivision in Asher, Oklahoma. She attended the First Baptist Church of Asher, Oklahoma. Linda is survived by her husband, David Andrew Yott, one son, David Allen Yott and his wife, Linda Mae Yott of Asher, Oklahoma, and three grandsons, Dakota, Dalton and Wyatt Yott all of Asher, Oklahoma. Also surviving Linda are her four brother-in-laws, Arlis Yott of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Marvin Yott, Darrell Yott both of Asher, Oklahoma and Raymond Yott of McComb, Oklahoma, four sister-in-laws, Patricia Leverett and her husband John of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Georgie Tryn of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Lucy Glenn of South Rock Creek, Shawnee, Oklahoma and Linda Sue Pack of Shawnee, Oklahoma. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margie Roach; one daughter, Lisa Marie Yott in 1963; one brother-in-law, Gene Yott; and one sister-in-law, Ruby Lebo. A memorial service for Linda will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa, Oklahoma with Rev. Kevin Duck officiating.
