Linda Sue Rhodes, 62, born November 24, 1948 in Konawa, Oklahoma to Cletus and Onie Mae (Blankenship) Hayes, after a long illness of cancer, lost her fight on December 24, 2010. Linda retired from her position as Librarian after serving over 22 years at the Seminole Public Library. She had a passion for horses and was an active member of the Oklahoma State Round-up Association since 1983. During her career, she participated in hundreds of play days and captured numerous awards. She is preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers, Charlie Hayes, John Hayes and Gerald Hayes. Linda is survived by her husband, Al Rhodes, of the home, daughters Angela Mason, of Stinnett, Texas, Lisa Llanusa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, step-daughters, Cyndy Goldstein of Seminole, Oklahoma and Deborah Rhodes of Arkansas, and one step-son Randy Rhodes of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is also survived by sister Betty Casey, of Seminole, Oklahoma, brother, Clyde Hayes of Wetumka, Oklahoma and grandchildren, Spencer, Logan, and Tyler Hoff of Stinnett, Texas and Gabrielle and Cole Llanusa of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, nieces, Serina Brown of Tecumseh, Oklahoma and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel, Seminole, Oklahoma. Officiating will be Betty Ward and Pat Coffey.
