Linda Louise (Collinsworth) Payne

Linda Louise (Collinsworth) Payne, age 70 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 25, 2017 at Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.  Rev. Kevin Duck will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery, east of Konawa.  Casket bearers are Gary Elliott, Jerrod Collinsworth, Kenneth Payne, Matthew Payne, Montana Payne, Hagen Payne, Tommy Aldridge, Jeremy Phillips, and Josh Phillips. Linda was born August 18, 1946 in Konawa to Jerry Collinsworth and Johnnie (Tollett) Collinsworth.  She was a graduate of Konawa High School, and on June 18, 1965 at the Assembly of God Church in Konawa, she married Kenneth Payne.  Linda was a member of Vamoosa Baptist Church, and she loved to play ball with her grandchildren, to ride four-wheelers, and to have family get-togethers. She is survived by her husband of fifty-one years, Kenneth Payne of the home; three sons, Mark Payne and wife, Laurie of Konawa, Mitchell Payne and wife, Kimberly of Konawa, and Monty Payne and wife, Danita also of Konawa; one brother, Brad Collinsworth of Sasakwa; two sisters, Sharlene Phillips and husband, Bobby of Seminole, and Carlotta Travels and husband, Rocky of Sasakwa; thirteen grandchildren, Latasha, Kenneth, Matthew, Kayla, Montana, Kennedy, and Hagen Payne, Adam, Shayla, and Shanda Gordon, Brayden, Kayle, and Jenna Chronister; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Johnnie Collinsworth; one brother, Leon Collinsworth, and two sisters, Phyllis Phillips, and Shirley Collinsworth.
