Linda Lou Lena

Linda Lou Lena, 62, Wewoka, Oklahoma resident, passed away Wednesday, December 5, 2018 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Linda was born September 5, 1956 in Phoenix, Arizona to Walter Lena and Stella Mae (Barnett) Lena. Linda attended New Lima High School and graduated in 1974. Linda was a member of the Muscogee Creek Nation.  She had worked for Wrangler for 8 years before her health left her unable to work. She enjoyed watching basketball, taking care of her grand kids, laughing and visiting with her friends and family. She was a well known athlete for basketball and softball. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Glen Dale Price Sr., who passed away August 14, 2008. Linda is survived by her two sons; Julius Price of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Glen Price, Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma; her daughter Crystal Price of Wewoka, Oklahoma; her brothers Louie Lena and his wife Anita of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Benny Lena and his wife Janice of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Leon Lena of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Lawrence “ Dinka” Lena and his wife Marsha of Oklahoma City  and Mark Lena and his wife Glenda of Seminole, Oklahoma; two sisters; Shirley McBride and husband Harold of Muskogee, Oklahoma, Kahleetah Williams and husband Wendell of Seminole, Oklahoma , 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Wake services will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma with burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma. Pallbearers will be Louis Lena Jr., Kevin Lena, Austin Barraza, Phillip Barnoski, Camron Price and Delino Smith.
