Linda Gregg

Linda Gregg, long time St. Louis, Oklahoma resident passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 at her home at the age of 62.  Linda was born January 25, 1947 in Konawa, Oklahoma to parents Eddie Franklin and Rachel Nancy (Baker) Sharber. Linda attended school at Vamoosa Public School system, and a member of the First Baptist Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma. On May 5, 1962 Linda married Bob Gregg and together they owned and operated “Gregg’s Gas Station” there in St. Louis since the early 1970's. Linda also worked at the United States Postal Services in Earlsboro, Oklahoma and the Daily Oklahoman. Linda is survived by two sons: Robert Don and his wife Brandy Gregg of St. Louis and David Roy Gregg also of St. Louis, Oklahoma.  Sister, Donna and her husband Pete Stanley of Seminole, Oklahoma and three grandchildren Courtney, Ryan and Derrick Gregg. Linda was preceded in death by: parents, Ed and Rachel Sharber; brothers, Jack, Joe Ed, Billy Don Sharber; sister, Mozeline Berry and Maxine Pamplin. Funeral Service for Linda is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at First Baptist Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma with Rev. Glenn Peck officiating, burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery, Vamoosa, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers are: Randy Stevens, Bill Sullivan, Steven Nail, Harold Brewer, C.L. Wise and Jack Oblander.  All nephews will serve as Honorary Bearers. Visitation will be held at Knight-Swearingen Funeral Home of Maud, Oklahoma. Sunday, August 2, 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m..
