Linda Davidson

Longtime Seminole resident, Linda Kay (Fowler) Davidson passed away Tuesday morning, August 4, 2015, at Colonial Estates in Shawnee, Oklahoma, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Seminole, Oklahoma, on November 8, 1948, to Cecil and Elsie (Chandler) Fowler. After graduating from Seminole High School, she worked at M & M Oil Company for several years before going to work in the sewing department at Blue Bell/Wrangler located on Harvey Road.  She retired from Wrangler in 1995. She and Ronnie Davidson, her spouse, enjoyed 34 years together. Her favorite activities after retirement included traveling, antique shopping, vacationing at Lake Wister and in the Broken Bow area and spending time with her family and friends. She especially loved her miniature schnauzer, Minnie, who traveled with her on vacations and was never far from her side at home. She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Wayne Fowler. Linda is survived  by her spouse, Ronnie Davidson; step children, Ronnie Davidson, Jr. Zanda Davidson and Anthony Davidson; grandchildren, Clayton Stephens, Michelle James, Diana James and Niquita Low; and great granddaughter, Madilyn Samilton. She is also survived by her aunt, Pat Chandler and her husband, Ben; nephews, Terry Fowler and Gary Fowler; niece, Kelly Fowler; and cousins, David Robbins, Steve and Sandy Fowler and their children, Sabrina and Nikki, along with a large host of extended family and friends. A Memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2015 at the New Life Assembly of God Church on Highway # 3 with Rev. David Pollard officiating.
