Lilly Antoinette Phelps, 77, died Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Seminole Estates Nursing Home in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born October 8, 1931 in Oakland, California to Charles Augustus and Nora Ann Walkman (Smith) Deming.rnrnMrs. Phelps moved Seminole, from San Diego, California in January 2007. She was a longtime resident of Alpine, California where she was involved in Women's ministries and the choir at her church. Mrs. Phelps was a practical nurses aide working in home health aide industry, for the most of her adult life.rnrnShe was married to Robert Russell Phelps in October 29, 1949 in Alpine, California. He preceded her in death.rnrnShe is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 2 sons Bobby and Johnny Phelps and several brothers and sisters.rnrnShe is survived by her daughter Nora Ann Cutler of Seminole, Oklahoma. 4 Sons, Paul Alan Phelps of Alpine, California, Donald Lee Phelps of Needles, California, Charles Augustus Phelps of Phoenix, Az. and Lawrence James Phelps of Santee, California.rnrnShe is also survived by several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.rnrnThere will be a private burial for her in Alpine, California.
