Lillie Bottom

Lillie Marie (Reinschmeidt) Bottom, age 86 and longtime resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away on Thursday, August 6, 2009, at Sunset Estates in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11th, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma.  Burial will follow at Vista Cemetery, west of Konawa.  Rev. Mitch Williams will officiate.  Pallbearers are Mark Wartchow, Chad Wartchow, Eddie W. Bottom, Jr., Dan Fleming, Ron Phay, and Jerry Witske.  Honorary pallbearers are Carl J. Sisco, Gary Fry, James Hargrove, and Ham Brown.  Viewing will be Saturday and Monday, 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., and Sunday 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Lillie was born on February 27, 1923, to Jacob Reinschmeidt and Myrtle Marie (Weter) Reinschmeidt in Bessie, Oklahoma.  She married Edd Bottom on February 20, 1943 in Cordell, Oklahoma.  Lillie was a homemaker who loved to cook, sew, work in the garden, and take care of her adorable grandchildren. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her husband of sixty-six years, Edd Bottom of the home; one son, Eddie Bottom and wife, Charlotte of Macomb, Oklahoma; three daughters, Darla Miles and husband, Steve of Asher, Oklahoma, Connie Wartchow and husband, Ronnie of Roff, Oklahoma, and Phyllis Sisco and husband, Richard of Asher, Oklahoma; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Lillie was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Myrtle Reinschmeidt; five brothers, one sister, and one daughter, Charlotte Ann Bottom.
