Lillian White

Lillian Luana White, 90 Lillian Luana (Sechrist) White long time Seminole resident passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 90. Lillian was born August 22, 1923 in Brightmoor, Michigan to parents, Norman and Magna (Matison) Sechrist. Lillian was of the Lutheran faith and a member of the Heartland Family Church of Seminole, Oklahoma. Lillian married Jack White on December 9, 1941 in Michigan. Jack preceded her in death August 1, 1999. Lillian served in the Coast Guard. She was a member of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary.  Lillian is survived by one son, Mike White of Edmond, Oklahoma; two daughters, Lee White of McAlester, Oklahoma and Donna Wolff of Seminole, Oklahoma. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren. Lillian is preceded in death by her parents, Norman and Magna Sechrist and her husband, Jack White. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Heartland Family Church of Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Roger Brewer and Rev. Tom Newell will officiate the service.
