Lillian Ruth Johnson

Lillian Ruth Johnson, 76, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma resident, passed away on January 19, 2019 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Lillian was born March 26, 1942 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jerome Johnson and Florada (Wiggins)Woodfork. Lillian grew up in Seminole and attended public school in Seminole. Lillian worked for the State of Oklahoma, Department of Transportation as a Bridge Inspector for several years, before retirement. Lillian is survived by her mother Florada Wiggins Woodfork of Seminole, Oklahoma, one son John Sloan and his wife Darby of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two daughters Ladonna  Stull and her husband Donald of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Laveda Sloan of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, one brother Phil Edwards of Seminole, Oklahoma, her sister Alessa Fabre’ and her husband Alvin of Abita Springs, Louisiana, nine grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Jerome, and her brother James Benard Colbert. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 26, 2019 at the Galilee Baptist Church at 1025 East 9th Street in Shawnee, Oklahoma with Pastor Marcus Smith and Pastor Larry Payne officiating. Burial will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
