Letha Lee Smith, Seminole resident died, Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at her home. Letha was born September 8, 1930 in Idabel, Oklahoma to Martha M. Rosie (Boyd) and James Dodson Williams. Letha was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother to all her family. Letha had moved to the Seminole area seven years ago from Meeker, Oklahoma, and was a member of the Jarvis Church of God. Letha married Wiley Paul Smith on June 9, 1948 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas and he preceded her in death on September 15, 1990. Letha is survived by three sons Steve Smith and his wife Verena of Shawnee, Oklahoma, John Smith and his wife Margaret  of Seminole, Oklahoma and Harold Smith and his wife Coretha  of Skiatook, Oklahoma., six daughters Ruth Bales of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Sandra Edings and her husband James of Eufaula, Oklahoma, Brenda Scott of Livingston, Texas, Elaine Bledsoe and her husband Jerry of Sallisaw, Oklahoma and Regina Sexton and her husband Lee of Kingston, Oklahoma, twenty four grandchildren, Twenty Great Grandchildren and eighteen great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wiley Smith, sons David Smith and Lonnie Smith, sons-in law, Richard Scott and Claid Bales, grand-daughter, Sherrie Ross, Grandson Daniel Sexton, great granddaughters Kaylee Smith and Olivia Ross. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 16, 2015 at the Tecumseh City Cemetery in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.  Reverand Cindy Roberson will officiate at the service. Casket bearers will be Dustin Smith, James Ross, John Smith, Steve Smith, Bradley Dehart and Jesse Totty. Honorary bearer will be Howard Davis. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
