Lester Lynn Floyd

Lester Lynn Floyd, 59, Seminole area resident, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2021 at his home. Lester was born October 23, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Marion Emry Floyd and Norma Sue (Estes) Floyd.  He grew up in Mustang, Oklahoma and later attended and graduated from Northeastern College with an associate’s degree. Lester was a painter and welder for Clean Products, Inc.

Lester loved to go fishing, wood working, visiting with his friends and family, Oklahoma State football, Pittsburgh Steelers football, going to the movies and spending time with his tribal family.

Lester is survived by one son; Robin Floyd and his wife Elizabeth Floyd of Seminole, Oklahoma, his father Marion Floyd, his brother Tim Floyd and his wife Rhonda of Paris, Texas, two sisters Susan Rhaulie and her husband Steve of Owasso, Oklahoma and Cindy Dobbs and her husband Jon of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Lester was preceded in death by his mother Norma Sue Floyd.

There will be a visitation on Monday, January 18, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home and a Memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roy Robertson.

Honorary bearers will be Danny Wood, Jeff Lewis, David Brown and Leon Bruno.

Cremation and Memorial services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
