A Rosary service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 7th, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Father Adrian Vorderlandwehr, OSB will officiate. Soloists are Danny Khoury, and Sandra Mitchell. Pallbearers are Frankie Walker, Mark Copeland, Billy Freeman, Wichita Blaine, Larry Bear, Fussy Lowery, and Burt Talbear. Honorary pallbearers are Donnie Bailey, and Donald Fry.rnrnLeonard was born on July 22, 1950, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to Leonard Joe Alderson and Charlotte A. (Rhodd) Alderson. He married Frankie Jo LeClair on December 1, 1970 in Paris, Texas.rnrnHe is survived by his mother, Charlotte Alderson of Maud, Oklahoma; one son, Travis Sean Alderson of Maud, Oklahoma; one daughter, Summer Artensia Alderson of Shawnee, Oklahoma; one sister, Charlotte Ann Shelley of Maud, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Daniel Joe Alderson and Samuel Elijah; father-in-law, Franklin LeClair and mother-in-law, Virginia Plumley; and special friend, Pam Adams.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Joe Alderson, and by his wife, Frankie Jo Alderson.rn Funeral Information: January 7, 2009, 10:00 AM
