Former Shawnee resident, Lenora Snow, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2025, in Meeker, at the age of 103.
Lenora, the daughter of Dallas “D.J.” and Lula (Parker) Dye, was born January 9, 1922, in Sulphur. Lenora married Dee Snow and they enjoyed many years together. Mr. Snow preceded her in death on January 27, 1978. She was a home maker, who enjoyed knitting and doing crochet, and she was a member of the Assembly of God Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dee Snow; her son, Ronald Snow; brothers, Vernon Dye, L.D. Dye, Kenneth Dye, Dallas Jr. “Bud” Dye, and William Dye; and sister, Mildred Dye.
Lenora is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and Sam Killebrew; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Barbara Dye, Bobby Dye, and Ronald and Jackie Dye; along with many other family members and friends.
A graveside service will be Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 1:00 P.M., at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
