Lena Karen Corona

Seminole resident, Lena Karen Corona, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023, at the age of 18.

Lena, the daughter of Freddy Corona and Shawna Normali, was born April 30, 2005, in San Diego, California.  She was a free spirit who loved doing yoga and meditation, being in nature, reading, and doing arts and crafts, particularly painting.  She had taken her first job, working Oklahoma Custom Coating and she loved it.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Frederick and Lena Corona, and Billy McConnell.

Lena is survived by her parents, Freddy Corona of Seminole and Shawna Normali of Seminole; grandparents, Donald Rose of Whitman AZ., and Karen McConnell of Seminole; brothers, Ryan Normali of Glendale AZ., Jacob Normali of Phoenix AZ., Elijah Corona of Seminole and Joshua Corona of Seminole; sisters, Bella Rose of Tulsa, and Mariah Corona of Seminole; uncles, Donald “Boo” Rose and Lee Rose; a dear friend who was as close as a sister, Augustina Laiwa; and a host of family and friends.

A memorial service will be Friday, July 28, 2023, at 10:00 A.M., at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole.
