Lee Pippin, age 96, former longtime Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed away August 1, 2019 at the Veteran’s Center in Norman, Oklahoma. Lee was born August 11, 1922 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to parents William R. Pippin and Nancy (Walker) Pippin. Lee was a high school graduate and attended Seminole Junior College. He served his country as a private in the United States Army. Lee was owner of Pippin Plumbing Company in Seminole before his retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole and the American Legion. He enjoyed walking, building things and staying busy working in his yard. Lee is survived by his son; Micah Pippin and his wife Valentina of Sarasota, Florida, his daughter; Sandy Inman and her husband Larry of Huntsville, Alabama, grandchildren; Elisabeth Pippin of Sarasota, Florida, John Inman of Corbin, Kentucky and Tim Inman of Huntsville, Alabama, his sister; Bernice Lindsay of Little Axe, Oklahoma, great grandchildren; Johnlyn Inman, Judylyn Inman, Johnathon Inman, Jacob Lee Inman, Katelyn Inman and Waylon Inman. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister; Edith Conway, his brothers; Ralph Pippin, Lloyd Pippin and Cecil Pippin, his wife Betty, who was  the mother of his children, and wives; Billie (Hendryx) Pippin and Thelma (Lilly) Pippin. Funeral services for Lee will be at 10 A.M., Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at the Historic Strother Chapel at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma with Dr. Larry Inman officiating. He will receive military honors at the chapel and burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
