Leah Dawn Hanson

Leah Dawn Hanson, 16 year-old, Saint Louis resident passed from this life Tuesday, December 7, 2010.  She died following an automobile accident that also took the life of her cousins, Joshua McBroom and Andrew McBroom near Asher in Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma.  She was born January 31, 1994 in Ada, Oklahoma to parents Sonja Hanson and Jerry Campbell. Leah was a sophomore at Asher High School, Oklahoma. Survivors include her guardian mother, Ellen (Dorrough) McBroom of Saint Louis, Oklahoma; her mother, Sonja Hanson and her step-father, Eugene White both of Wolf, Oklahoma; father, Jerry Campbell of Shawnee, Oklahoma; two sisters, Vashti White of Washington State and Raven Hanson White of Saint Louis, Oklahoma; three brothers, Joshua Albert of Wewoka, Oklahoma, Isaiah Thorpe IV of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Matthew Hanson of Prague, Oklahoma; one step-sister, Juanita White of Shawnee, Oklahoma; three step-brothers, Jon White of Wolf, Oklahoma, Jake White of Duncan, Oklahoma and Clifton White of Duncan, Oklahoma; maternal grandmother, Julia Hanson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; grandfather, Jake Dorrough of Wolf, Oklahoma; one beautiful niece "Gabbie" Hanson of Prague, Oklahoma; several aunts, uncles and a host of other family and dear friends. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Bowlegs High School Gymnasium.  Interment will follow at Vista Cemetery located west of Konawa on Hwy. 39.  Rev. Harold Turner will officiate the service. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
