Lawrence (Larry) Allen Clary

Konawa, Oklahoma resident Lawrence (Larry) Allen Clary passed away November 21, 2023 at the age of 72. He was born August 15, 1951 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to William Walter Clary and Billie Jean (Tyler) Clary. He graduated from Midwest City High School.

Larry served in the military for eight years and was a Vietnam veteran. He received 2 Bronze stars and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was an air assault paratrooper in Vietnam. He was a retired union pipefitter out of local 344 in Oklahoma City.

Larry is survived by his sons; Monty Clary, Michael Clary and Mick Clary all of Konawa, Oklahoma, his daughter; Melissa McDaniels, his brother; Terry Clary and his sister; Sandy and nine grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2023 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa.

The funeral service for Larry will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Grace Community Church in Konawa with Rev. Drew Isaacs officiating. Burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery.

Casket bearers will be Tom Leadgerwood, Michael Clary, Mick Clary, Chris Stokes, Colby Eberly and Austin Clary.

Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Konawa, Oklahoma.
