Larry Elwood Short

Larry Elwood Short , age 61 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away April 3, 2022 in an auto accident near his home.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Larry was born August 28, 1960 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Elwood L. Short and Joyce (Coats) Lynch.  He graduated from Wewoka High School and worked as a roughneck in the oilfield industry.  Larry loved fishing and working on cars.

He is survived by his daughter, Shawna J. Kiser of Ponca City, Oklahoma; his brother, Owen G. Short also of Ponca City; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
