Larry “ Uncle Bubba” Motherspau, 52, Seminole resident died Friday, July 31, 2009 at his home in Seminole. Larry was born on December 31, 1956 in Dayton, Ohio to Harold Edward and Ella Easter (McCarl) Motherspau. Larry moved to Seminole from Whitney, Texas 20 years ago. He was a long-haul truck driver working for Miller Truck Lines in Stroud, Oklahoma and TDC Trucking in Missouri. Larry worked until his illness prevented him too. He was known as the “ Texas Poor boy” while in his truck. Larry loved his family, eating cheeseburgers and mashed potatoes and watching the Si-Fi channel. Larry loved visiting with his friends and family at every opportunity, Larry married Deborah Diane Hutton on July 3, 1982 in Whitney, Texas. His parents precede Larry in death, a sister Dorothy White a loving Father-in-law Jim Hutton, and Gerald Motherspau. His loving wife survives him: Deborah Diane Motherspau of the home, one son Matthew Edward Motherspau of Lexington, Oklahoma and his wife Jessica of Seminole. Two brothers: Victor Webb and Jack Childress of Whitney, Texas, Larry hs always had the special love and dedication by his three sisters: Roberta Cabellero and her husband Santiago of Lafayette, Louisiana, Dorakay Richmond of Lafayette, La., Debbie Saylor and her husband Larry of Whitney, Texas other sisters include: Rebecca White of Whitney, Texas and Nancy Webb of Whitney, Texas, Kim Gordon and husband Ed of Georgia. Three grandchildren Baylea Nicole Motherspau, McKenna Marie Motherspau and Amaya Laris Motherspau all of Seminole. His grandmother Marjorie Lester of Seminole. Larry is also survived by his babies, his sisters-in-law, Le’ Robbye Winterscheid and Husband Terry of Seminole, Jamie Marie Curtis and Husband Ron of Wewoka, Okla., Tori Dawn Phillips and Husband Sonny of Seminole, and a wonderful mother-in-law Dee Ann Gurley and husband Roy of Seminole, who always made sure Larry had his good breakfast. Larry loved all his nieces and nephews scattered throughout Ohio and Texas and was very fond of his nieces and nephews that lived here in the Seminole area; Kyndall Winterscheid, Aaron Winterscheid, Elizabeth (Lizzie) Winterscheid, Tyler Hutton and Issac Winterscheid, Ashley Brinsfield, Yasha Brinsfield, MaCayla Brinsfield and Jacob Brinsfield. Great niece Ka’Leah Simpkins and Great nephew, Zehrehne Simpkins and his special dear friends, Danny Hannabass, J.D. McCarley, Papa John Pierson and his wife Brenda. Wade, Jan, and Carol, Dee and Diana Wilkerson and Chris and Earl Burkett, Larry Saylor. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 8, 2009 at God’s Assembly at 701 Boren Blvd in Seminole, with Rev. Gus Monreal officiating.
