Larry James LeJeune, Jr., 49 year old Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He was born June 30, 1966 in Jennings, Louisiana to parents, Larry James LeJeune, Sr. and Laura Mae (Babineaux) Perry. Larry graduated from Lake Arthur, Louisiana High School in 1984 and went on to join the United States Marine Corp. While serving our country, Larry earned the Sharpshooter Rifle Badge and the Good Conduct Medal. On September 6, 1995 Larry married Antoinette Marie “Toni” (Ryder) LeJeune in Lake Arthur, Louisiana. Together the couple moved to Seminole, Oklahoma in 2011. For the past four years the couple worked together at “Lunch and Such” restaurant in Seminole, where Larry was one of the cooks and Toni worked alongside of him. Larry liked to golf, play poker, hangout with his friends, and he loved to cook. Larry is survived by his wife of almost 21 years, Antoinette “Toni” LeJeune of the home in Seminole; his father, Larry James LeJeune, Sr. and his wife Glenda of Sulphur, Louisiana; his mother, Laura (Babineaux) Perry and her husband Robert of Lake Arthur, Louisiana; his paternal grandmother, Lena LeJeune of Jennings, Louisiana; one son, Quintin LeJeune of Jennings, Louisiana; two daughters, Michelle LaVergne and her husband Josh of Hathaway, Louisiana, Krystal Benoit of Lafayette, Louisiana; three brothers, Bo LeJeune and his wife Veronica of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, Shannon LeJeune and his wife Heather of Lake Charles, Louisiana; three sisters, Leslie Courts and her husband Mike of Lake Arthur, Louisiana, Deidra “Dee Dee” Moses and her husband Byron of Jennings, Louisiana, Charla Riley and her husband Joe of Jennings, Louisiana; three grandchildren, Gracee LaVergne, Kirstin LaVergne and Audree LaVergne all of Hathaway, Louisiana; and a host of other family and dear friends. Larry is preceded in death by one son, Robbie Benoit who died in 2009, by two brothers, Dwayne LeJeune who died in 2010, and by Robbie Perry who died in 2011,and by his maternal grandparents and his paternal grandfather. Memorial services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Matthews & Son Funeral Home Chapel located at 318 Kellogg in Lake Arthur, Louisiana 70549. Brandon Fruge, will be officiating the service. Military Honors will be conducted at the conclusion of the memorial service. Honorary Bearers will be: Bill Green, Russell McKelvie, Brian Adams, Bo LeJeune, Mike Courts, and Quintin LeJeune. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
