LaRonda James

LaRonda Lynn (Pitts) James, was born October 18, 1970, in Clinton, Oklahoma. She went to be with the Lord on April 12, 2015 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Ronda is the daughter of Richard and Maggie Kilgore of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Steve Pitts of Maud, Oklahoma. She attended Seminole Schools and worked as a DDCA at Oakridge Nursing Home in Wewoka, until her health failed. Ronda lived a full life in her short 44 years. Her greatest pleasure was becoming a Mother to her daughter Madison. She loved the 4th of July with family and having fun, especially her brothers chasing her with fireworks. Ronda loved spending time with family and enjoyed the time she spent with her cousins and great cousins, whom she considered nieces and nephews. She enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time with her beloved dog, “Toby”, who she called her “Little Man”. Ronda was truly loved by her family and will be greatly missed by her daughter Madison James of Wewoka, Oklahoma, her parents Richard and Maggie Kilgore of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Steve Pitts of Maud, Oklahoma, brothers; Charlie Pitts and his wife Shannon of Wewoka, Oklahoma and Richard Kilgore Jr. of Wewoka, Oklahoma and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Rhonda was preceded in death by maternal grandparents Frank and Ruth Gore, paternal grandparents Ray and Betty Dorrough, her aunt Linda Henington and her cousins  Joanie Mooney and Quinton Pitts, Jr. Funeral services will be held  at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 16, 2015 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel and burial will follow at the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. Glen Peck, of the St. Louis Baptist Church will officiate at the funeral. Casket bearers will be; Charlie Pitts, Richard Kilgore, Jr., Stephen Kilgore, Teally White, Quinton Pitts and Buddy Henington. Honorary bearers will be Korrey James, Quinton Pitts III, Matthew Hill, Tate Johnson, Qualen Mariott, Kahaner Mariott and Charles “Boo Boo” James.
