LaJohna Gale Jones

LaJohna Gale Jones, 54, Seminole resident died Tuesday, February, 25, 2014 at Seminole Care and Rehab Center in Seminole, Oklahoma. She was born December 18, 1959 in Vernon, Texas to Johnny Wyane and Charlotte ( Trantham) McDowell. LaJohna moved to Seminole from Little Axe, Oklahoma 8 years ago. She had formerly worked as a shipping clerk at Wrangler Corporation. She loved her nieces, nephews and her Texas Longhorns Football. She is survived by her Mother Charlotte Minyard of Seminole, Oklahoma, her daughter Amanda Dawn McDowell of Marlow, Oklahoma, one brother Rayland McDowell of Seminole, three sisters, Charlotte Sizemore of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Ginger Grant of Waurika, Oklahoma and Audra Gorden of Seminole, Oklahoma and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and two brothers Danny McDowell and Eddie Mcdowell. Graveside memorial services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Little Cemetery, north of Seminole with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating.   The family would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers and a special thank you to Faith Hospice of Seminole.
