LaDonna Roshell “Pippy” Jackson, 30 year old lifelong Wewoka, Oklahoma resident went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at her home in Lima, Oklahoma following a battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends. LaDonna was born September 7, 1983 in Wewoka to parents Polly Ann Jackson and Arthur Lee Berry. She was raised in the Seminole County area graduating from Butner High School in 2001. There she enjoyed playing basketball for the Butner Eagles. Following high school LaDonna went to work in the health care field. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lima, Oklahoma. The family finds comfort in the fact that she had accepted the Lord into her heart and that they will be reunited in Heaven someday. LaDonna or “Pippy” as she was lovingly called, would go fishing at the drop of a hat and was a very avid movie watcher. LaDonna leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Polly Ann Jackson of Wewoka, Oklahoma; her father, Arthur Berry of Wewoka, Oklahoma; her five year old daughter, Invie Shila Deane Berry of Lima, Oklahoma; one brother, Arthur Lonzo Jackson of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; one sister, Elaine Jackson of Wewoka, Oklahoma; special aunts, (her mother’s twin sister) Molly Ann Jackson and Treasha Jackson-Goss (who will raise her daughter, Invie) of Lima, Oklahoma; special friends, Judy Behls and her son, Victor “Chico” Ellison both of Pampa, Texas; and a host of other family and dear friends. Funeral Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 16, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma. Rev. LaMonte Bray and Rev. Billy Renfro will officiate the service. Interment will follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka. Services have been entrusted to Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.
