Kevin Guinn

Kevin James Guinn, 53 year old long time Maud area resident, passed from this life on Monday, August 17, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  Kevin was born December 25, 1961 in Corpus Christi, Texas to parents “Jack” James Guinn and Billie Joan (Ledbetter) Guinn. When Kevin was in the 5th grade the family moved to Maud following the death of his mother in 1970. Kevin graduated from Maud High School in 1980 and then went on to attend East Central University.  He then started to work for Barton Valve Company in Shawnee in May of 1981.  He then earned a sales position for Barton Wood Valve Company, now known as GE Oil and Gas where he has worked for 34 years. Kevin leaves to cherish his memory one son and daughter-in-law, Beau Guinn and his wife Samantha of Maud, Oklahoma; one daughter and son-in-law, Megan (Guinn) Williams and her husband Josh of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; two grandchildren, Jackson Williams of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Juliann Grace “Charlie Red” Williams of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, also Kevin’s son and daughter-in-law are expecting their first child, a son, whom they are going to name Gunner James Guinn he is expected in December; other survivors include his former wife and the mother of his children, Jamie Diann (Adams) Guinn Gates of Shawnee, Oklahoma; and a host of other family and dear friends. Kevin is preceded in death by his mother, Billie Joan (Ledbetter) Guinn who died in 1970 and by his father, Jack Guinn who died in 2009.
