Kenneth Doyle Welch

Kenneth Doyle Welch, Jr., age 53 and a long-time resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away Saturday, March 14, 2020 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City. No service is planned, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Kenneth was born March 18, 1966 in Oklahoma City to Virginia Nora (Bayles) Hayes and Kenneth Doyle Welch.  He worked in construction, and he loved to go camping, ride Harley Davidson motorcycles, and “hanging out” with his family.  He married Robyn (Hicks) Amato on March 18, 2000 at the Washita River in Oklahoma. He is survived by five sons, James Welch and wife, Amanda, Ben Amato and wife, Nichole, Ryan Amato and wife, Megan, Billy Mitchell and wife, Sammy, and Donny Henery and wife, April; three daughters, Vanessa Welch, Shonna (Henery) Fisher and husband, Justin, Sharron (Henery) and Nathon Sisk; two brothers, Bill Welch and wife, Gloria, and Ardyst Welch; 32 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his dad, Kenneth Welch; mother, Virginia Hayes; and two uncles, Clarance Bells and Jimmy Cole.
