Kenneth G. "Ken" Moss, Shawnee resident, passed away Monday, December 10, 2007, at Unity North Health Center in Shawnee at the age of 81.rnrnHe was born March 28, 1926 in Sapulpa, OK to James G. Moss & Mary Francis (Waters) Moss.rn rnKen enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on May 25, 1944. rnHe served his country during World War II in the South Pacific. He battled on enemy lines in Okinawa, Japan. Ken received an honorable discharge on January 2, 1946.rnrnKen later attended Oklahoma A & M (OSU) in Stillwater for two years.rnrnHe married Wanda J. (Millsap) on April 8, 1953 in Harrison, Arkansas. They were long time Ada residents before moving to Shawnee.rnrnKen worked as a Facility Manager at Robert S. Kerr in Ada and retired from there on November 3, 1986.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Wanda J. Moss of the home; one brother, William Louis Moss of Colorado; one sister, Evelyn Brown of Mannford, OK; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and his neighborhood friends. rn rnFuneral services will be held on Friday, December 14, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at Swearingen Funeral Chapel in Konawa.rnrnServing as casket bearers will be Ed Guthrie, Charles Cottrell, Keith Smalley. Richard Ruiz, Charles Pulford, Newt J. Stephens, Sr., Newt J.
