Burial will follow at Konawa Cemetery. Ellis Gregg will officiate. Pallbearers are Ronnie Matthews, Kevin Matthews, Dewayne Hagan, Larry Coleman, Bruce Coleman, Mike Coleman, and Lewis Coleman. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Morris, Bobby Matthews, and Larry Coleman, Jr.rnrnKenneth was born on December 22, 1933, in Hazel Community near Konawa, to William Henry Matthews and Vera Juanita (Fink) Matthews. He married Mary Smith on May 5, 1956. She passed away in May, 1995. He married Irlene McClead in Las Vegas, Nevada on September 22, 1997. He was the owner of M&M Auto Center and M&M Tank Trucks. Kenneth enjoyed ranching and being with his family.rnrnHe is survived by his wife, Irlene Matthews of the home; one son, Kenneth ?Butch? Matthews of Konawa; three daughters, Debbie Garner of Konawa, Carol Postman of Ponca City, Oklahoma, and Melanie Stogner of Gans, Oklahoma; one sister, Jo Nell Coleman of Bristow, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Amber Gregg, Austin Lane, Mattison Stogner, Kenley Matthews, and Kiefer Matthews; and two great grandchildren, Nathaniel Gregg and Phoenix Gregg.rnrnHe was preceded in death by his parents, William and Vera Matthews; first wife, Mary Matthews; and one brother, Doyle Matthews.rn Funeral Information: March 5, 2009, 2:00 AM
