Kenneth Jessie Kelly, 78 year old, longtime Seminole resident passed from this life Monday, July 3, 2006 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born August 23, 1927 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to parents Herbert Jessie Kelly and Clara (Walker) Kelly.rnrnKenneth attended Seminole High School before serving in the United States Navy during the Korean and Vietnam eras, retiring after 30 years earning the rank of HMCM - Medical Assistant.rnrnMr. Kelly then worked as a realtor at Bryant Realty in Seminole where he was a business partner with Marolyn Bryant for over 22 years.rnrnAt the age of 50 Mr. Kelly decided to further his education and earned his associate degree from Seminole State College.rnrnKenneth was of the Baptist faith. He married his current wife, Gloria (Sabado) Kelly on October 2, 2001 in Seminole, Oklahoma.rnrnMr. Kelly leaves to cherrish his memory, his wife, Gloria Kelly of the home.rnrnTwo daughters and sons-in-law, Karen & John Wood of Fairfax, Virginia and Toni & Craig LaPoint of Edwards, New York.rnrnOne step-daughter and son-in-law, Casee & Jon Baker of Rogers, Arkansas.rnrnFive grandchildren; Anne Elizabeth Wood of Fairfax, Virginia, Katherine Eleanor Wood of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania, Mark Thomas Wood of Fairfax, Virginia, Shelley Diane Fox of Rochester, New York and Matthew Kelly Fox of Nashua, New Hampshire.rnrnHe is preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Leatrice Ellis and by his first wife and the mother of his children, Jacqueline "Joda" (Cruse) Kelly.rnrnFuneral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Friday, July 7, 2006 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole with Pastor Bryan Shaw, officiating.rnrnInterment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Seminole.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home - Seminole, Oklahoma.
