Kenneth “Ollie” Wayne Harjo Longtime Seminole resident Kenneth Wayne Harjo passed away on August 23, 2009 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 62. He was born on August 22, 1947 in Prague, Oklahoma to Taylor and Cindy (Deere) Harjo.  He was a truck driver and worked for B.J.’s Hughes, Hooten Oil and Tiger Trucks. He was a member of the Victory Baptist Church and Hitchitee United Methodist Church; he was saved 10 years ago.   He married Wynona (Wood) Harjo and she survives him of the home, he also leaves to cherish his memories, three sons and daughters-in-law: Keith and Renee Douthit of Meeker, Tim and Polly Harjo of Maud, Stace and Holli Harjo of Seminole, and one daughter and son-in-law: Brandy Harjo and Mike Beal of Joplin, Missouri, and a granddaughter that was raised as a daughter, Kristen Alldredge of the home, three brothers: Bill Tiger of Norman, Oklahoma, Larry Deere of Seminole and Charles “Pop” Deere of Sherman, Texas.  He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews and other family and dear friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Stanley Harjo and Taylor Harjo, Jr. and step-daughter, Tammie King. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at the Hitchitee United Methodist Church with Rev. George Harjocee and Mike Harjo officiating.  He will be laid to rest at Hitchitee Church Cemetery.  A wake will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2009 at Hitchitee United Methodist Church at 6:30 p.m.   Funeral Information: August 26, 2009, 1:00 PM Hitchitee Indian Methodist Church located at 5 miles east of Hwy 99 on Hwy 99, Seminole, OK 74868
