Kenneth A. Hallum former Seminole county resident passed away Friday, March 9, 2012 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Kenneth was born on August 22, 1935, in Seminole county to parents, Kelse Mac Hallum and Hattie Lavona (Cleveland) Hallum. Kenneth married Carolyn (Snow) Hallum on December 20, 1958 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma who preceded him in death. Kenneth graduated from Seminole High School in 1954 where he played football. Kenneth played as guard and tackle and went to state with the team. Kenneth attended the University of Oklahoma where he was a member of the Varsity club and his crowning moment was being a member of the OU Football team, when they played in the 1955 championship. Kenneth was also a member of the Seminole Alumni Association and he was inducted into the Seminole High School Hall of Fame. Kenneth was a Medical Sales Representative for over 40 years at his retirement. Kenneth is survived by son, Mike of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, two daughters, Kathy of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Susanne of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two granddaughters also survive him, Carrie of Oklahoma City and Courtney of Galveston, Texas. Kenneth was preceded in death his parents, Kelse and Lavonna, his first wife, Carolyn Hallum, brother Wayne Hallum, sister, Joyce Stephenson and his 2nd wife, Sherry Moller. Memorial service for Kenneth will be held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Carl Whitfield officiating. Burial will take place, at a later date in Memorial Park Cemetery, Tulsa, Oklahoma.
