Kenneth Wayne Fixico, Sr., 72 Kenneth Wayne Fixico, Sr. a long time Seminole county resident passed away, Thursday May 17, 2012 at his home. He moved to Seminole from Shawnee, Oklahoma 22 years ago. Kenneth was born on February 27, 1940 at Pawnee, Oklahoma to parents, Edmond Smith Fixico and Magdalene Tanyan Fixico. Kenneth was a machinist for 25 years, he was a foreman for Compton Machine and 1992 he retired from Wolff Machine. He was an ordained minister, member of the Wewoka Indian Baptist Church, he was a councilman for the General Counsel of the Seminole Nation, a commissioner for the Seminole Housing Authority and a member of the Hecete Band. Kenneth married Semarian (Davis) Fixico in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Kenneth is survived by his wife Semarian of the home, three sons; Kenneth Fixico, Jr. of Seminole, Oklahoma, Justin Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, Aharalock Fixico of Lawrence, Kansas, three daughters; Kendra Arpoika of Seminole, Oklahoma, Dana Fixico of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lilly Harjo of Lawrence, Kansas. He is also survived by two sisters; Geneva Lowe of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Winona Washington of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren. Kenneth was preceded in death by two sons; Shannon Fixico, Kenneth Thomas Fixico, daughter; Teddi Fixico, his parents; Magdalene and Edmond Fixico, sisters; Myrtle Johnson, Margaret Hobia, Teresa Creek, Gladys Kaskaske and brothers; Thomas Fixico and Samuel Fixico. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday May 21, 2012 at New Hope Fellowship Church with Rev. Donny Faulkner, Rev. Steve Holata and Rev. Paul Fixico officiating. Burial will be at the Fixico Family Cemetery, Seminole county, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers: Luke Yeahquo, Tim Meely, Jack Lowe, Jerrall Fixico, George Franks, Thomas W. Hicks. Honorary bearers: Clint Yancey, Curtis Davis, Henry Hicks, Bill Hobia, Jr., Tylor Arpoika and Steve Johnson. Kenneth will be taken to his home 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 and to New Hope Fellowship Church 3:00 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012.
