Kenneth Burns Hughes II, 50, longtime Seminole resident, died at his home in Seminole on Friday, February 4, 2011. Kenneth was born October 8, 1960, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to James and Janice (Marshall) Hughes. Kenneth was a lab Tech at Oklahoma Custom Coating in Seminole and had also worked in the Seminole Oilfields for several years. Kenneth moved to Seminole from California 35 years ago. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division. Kenneth is survived by his Fiance’ Debbie Lemons of Seminole, Oklahoma. His mother, Janice (Marshall) Hughes of Seminole, two sons Tommy Lucas and Steven Hughes both of Lawton, Oklahoma and two daughters Kyla Licwinko of Clarksville, Tennessee and Kendra Velasco of Ft. Bragg, North Carolina also survive him. A brother, James Hughes of Norman, Oklahoma and two sisters, Cindy Scott of Seminole, Oklahoma and Lisa Fry of Wewoka, Oklahoma, also survives Kenneth. Three grandchildren also survive him. He was preceded in Death by his father James Hughes and a sister Cheryl Johnson. Funeral services are scheduled for1:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole.
