Kellie Eliane “Coco” Etchieson, age 40 and a resident of Ada, Oklahoma passed away on May 23, 2011 at Valley View Regional Hospital in Ada. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 26th at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa, Oklahoma. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada. Rev. Raymond Humphrey will officiate. Pallbearers are Hootie Cooper, Phillip Lee, Charles Miller, Dillon Childress, Joe Magby, and Tommy Fleming. Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday from 8:30 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Kellie was born on December 24, 1970 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Johnny Lane and Brenda (Smith) Etchieson. She worked as an Admission Secretary for Valley View Hospital in Ada, and she was of the Assembly of God faith. Kellie brought so much love and joy to all of those who knew and loved her. She always treated others like she wanted to be treated and without any hesitation. She always knew how to put a smile on everyone’s face and had one of the kindest hearts of anyone who knew her. Kellie was a wonderful daughter, mother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. May she rest “High on That Mountain” knowing that her work on earth is done. May she walk streets of gold and dwell in the kingdom of Heaven forever. She will be loved, remembered, and missed by all. Kellie is survived by her parents, Brenda and Harold Alfred of Ada, Oklahoma; one son, Tanner Wayne Etchieson of the home; one brother, Billy Frank Etchieson and wife, Christy of Atoka, Oklahoma; two sisters, Misti Richelle Block of Texarkana, Texas, Regina Dawn Faught, and husband, David of Lexington, Oklahoma; six nieces, Leah, Jessica, Kali, Gabby, Tyrah, and Gracie; six nephews, Ryan, Weston, Lane, Nick, Titus, and Tugh; great niece, Rhyme; and great nephews, Brayden, Boone, and Ruger. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her biological father, Johnny Lane Etchieson; her grandmother, Gladys Smith, great grandmother, Dayther Mae Miller; nephew, Justin Ray Maxey; and her high school sweetheart and companion, Tom Childress.
