Keith Whitley

Robert “ Keith “ Whitley, 49, longtime Seminole resident died Friday, July 15, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He was born July 6, 1962 in Phoenix, Arizona to Sherman Otis and Gladys Billie (Wallace) Whitley. Keith moved to Seminole in 1973 from Phoenix and attended Pleasant Grove Schools where he graduated.  He was District Manager for Boom-A-Rang /J-Pats Diners for several locations including: Norman, Blanchard, Purcell and Mustang, Oklahoma. He married Audene Marie (Holbert) Pilant on March 3, 1988 at the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma. His wife Audene Marie Whitley of Seminole, Oklahoma, survives Keith. One Son Christopher Aaron Whitley and two daughters Kimberly Dawn Whitley and Stephanie Marie Whitley all of Seminole survive him. His parents Sherman and Gladys " Billie" Whitley of Seminole, Oklahoma also survive him. Three brothers, David Whitley of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jimmy Whitley of Brazil and Kenny Whitley of Seminole, also survive him. One grandson Landon Keith Whitley also survives him. Funeral services are planned for 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 20, 2011 at the First Baptist Church at 420 Reid Street in Seminole, Oklahoma. Russell Vicars will officiate at the service with burial later at Tate Mountain Cemetery South of Wewoka, Oklahoma.
