Kathy Mary Plank Kathy Mary Plank went home to be with the Lord on April 13, 2010 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 64. She was born on November 30, 1945 to Elmer McCabe and Maudie Faye (Hinds) McCabe. Kathy married Ronnie Plank on October 3, 1986 in Seminole, Oklahoma. She worked for Blue Bell Wrangler for 28 years retiring in 2003 where she worked as a sewing operator and for the last 5 to 6 years she worked in the parts department. She was a member of the Baptist Church. Kathy was an animal lover and Ronnie said many times that he would love to be one of her babies. She especially loved hummingbirds and enjoyed feeding them. She loved going to their place at Lake Eufaula and enjoyed keeping her house clean. Kathy was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and a wonderful grandmother. She leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ronnie of the home, she is also survived by two sons, Jeffery Scott Steele of Seminole and Brian Patrick Loftis of Shawnee, Oklahoma, two sisters, Betty Jo Deere of Seminole and Judy Sneed of Checotah, Oklahoma, brother-in-law, Alton Walden of Wewoka, Oklahoma, two sisters-in-law, Betty Lou McCabe of Moore, Oklahoma and Violet Smith of Idabel, Oklahoma and brother-in-law, Mike Eagen of Checotah, Oklahoma. She is also survived by one grandchild, Bryan Keith Steele and two great grandchildren, Landon Keith Steele and Baeley Kae Steele. A host of nieces, nephews and other family and friends also survive her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Maudie McCabe, brothers, Benny Joe Smith, Jimmy Dale McCabe and sister, Darlene Walden and a special nephew Tommy Kent Reeves. Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 17, 2010 at the Bowlegs Assembly of God Church with Rev. Roy Robertson officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Casket bearers will be: Mike Eagon, Phillip Griggs, Tim Thetford, Scott McCabe, Steven McCabe and Tom Marble. Honorary Bearer will be, Jerry Harris. In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to the American Lung Association 1301 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Suite 800. Washington, DC 20004.
