Kathryn Othelda (Sartors) Stevens

Kathryn Othelda (Sartors) Stevens , age 72 and a resident of Asher, Oklahoma, passed away September 3, 2021 at SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma.

A memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 10, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of St. Louis, Oklahoma.  Pastor Clyde Lindsey of the First Baptist Church of Wanette will officiate.  Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa, Oklahoma.

Kathryn was born August 17, 1949 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma to A. B. Sartors and Bertha Casey (Long) Sartors.  She graduated from Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, and she was a Forklift Operator for Smurfit Stone Containers from 1968 to 2000.  She married Loran “Stanley” Stevens on May 5, 2018 in St. Louis, Oklahoma.  She was a member of the St. Louis Baptist Church, and she loved her church.  She also loved to cook, go fishing and camping, and most of all, she loved her family.

She is survived by her husband, Stanley Stevens of the home; one son, Jimmy Titsworth and wife Rollanda of Loco, Oklahoma; one daughter, Janie Shockley and husband, Greg of Omaha, Arkansas; two sisters-in-law, Carol Sartors of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, and Loretta Sartors of Tulsa, Oklahoma; ten grandchildren, and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Elvin Titsworth; two brothers, A. B. Sartors, Jr., and Bobby Sartors; and one sister, Anna Marie Arnold.
