Kathryn Ann Collier

Kathryn Ann (McKenzie) Collier, 75 Kathryn Ann Collier, long time Seminole County resident, passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at her residence at the age of 75. Kathryn was born December 21, 1935 at Lawton, Oklahoma to parents Parker McKenzie and Nettie (Odlety) McKenzie. Kathryn moved back to Oklahoma from Illinois 37 years ago. Kathryn graduated High School in 1954 from Anadarko, Oklahoma. Kathryn married George C. Collier in Anadarko, Oklahoma, on January 1, 1954. George preceded her in death May 9, 2001. Kathryn is survived by one son, Timothy P. Collier of Bloomington, Illinois, one sister, Esther (McKenzie) Hayes of Mt. View, Oklahoma and two grandchildren, Michael C. Collier and Robert D. Collier both of Bloomington, Illinois; three great-grandchildren, Skye N. Collier, Mackenzie R. Collier, and Gage A. Collier. Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents, Parker and Nettie McKenzie, her husband, George C. Collier; three brothers, Wilfred McKenzie, Henry McKenzie and Allen Robert McKenzie; one great granddaughter, Alexis D. Collier. Memorial service for Kathryn will be held 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel. Internment will take place at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens, Seminole, Oklahoma.
