Kathleen Taylor

Viola “Kathleen” (Conder) Taylor, 70 year-old longtime Seminole resident passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Midwest City Regional Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma.  She was born May 13, 1942 in Vertrees, Kentucky to parents Walter Conder and Hazel (Stark) Conder. On August 9, 1972 Kathleen married Charley L. Taylor in Louisville, Kentucky. Kathleen attended the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Seminole.  She was a homemaker and a loving wife and mother. Survivors include her husband, Charley Taylor of the home; one son, Jason Taylor of Enid, Oklahoma; two daughters and a son-in-law, Joyce Taylor of the home, Jeanie and Joseph True of Goose Creek, South Carolina; one brother, Alan Conder of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; three sisters, Ida Eleanor Kyle of Hodgenville, Kentucky, Barbara Lucas of Cecilia, Kentucky, Fern Mattingly of Clarksville, Indiana; four grandchildren, Andrew Taylor, Tamara Wilson, Meredith Morgan, Shelby Patterson; three great-grandchildren, Hailee Wilson, Brooke Wilson, Caleb Morgan and a host of other family and dear friends. Kathleen is preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Hazel Conder; her first husband, Strauda William Clark who died in January of 1970 and by one daughter, Janet Taylor who died in October of 1997. The family request that donations be made to the Pentecostal Holiness Church in Seminole, Oklahoma or to the charity of your choice in memory of Kathleen Taylor. Cremation services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Private family services are scheduled for a later date.
