Karoletta Rochelle Woodfork, 44, Norman, Oklahoma resident, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 in Norman. She was born April 3, 1972 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Jesse C. Woodfork, Jr. and Rosie Mae (Island) Woodfork. Karoletta grew up in Seminole and attended Seminole Public Schools until she moved with her family to Norman, Oklahoma. She then attended Norman Public schools and graduated from Norman High School in 1990. She attended City College in Norman and was an active member of the Community Missionary Baptist Church in Norman. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Coree Toliver Chapter # 21. Karoletta served her country in the United States Army. During her service, she was personnel Records Specialist for the 402d Reception Battalion and attained the rank of PV2. She had also received the Army Achievement Medal while in the service. Karoletta is survived by her mother Rosie M. Woodfork of Norman, Oklahoma; two brothers, Kevin Woodfork and his wife Donna of Shawnee, Oklahoma, and Samuel Woodfork and his wife Kellye of Norman, Oklahoma; five sisters, Dee Dee Grayson and her husband Jerry of Norman, Oklahoma, Freda R. Woodfork of Norman, Oklahoma, Karla Pitre and her husband Dennis of Norman, Oklahoma, Koretta McArthur and her husband Brian of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Kozetta E. Lucas of Carrollton, Texas. She was preceded in death by her father, Pastor Jesse Woodfork, Jr. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at the Trinity Baptist Church at 801 N. Peters St. in Norman, Oklahoma, with Pastor Richard Gaines officiating. Burial will follow after a luncheon at the church at Rest Haven Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Seminole, Oklahoma.
