June Pauline Thompson, 62 year old longtime Shawnee resident passed from this life Sunday, June 10, 2007 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. She was born March 1, 1945 in Aderdeen, Washington to parents Lyle and Irene Blaine.rnrnJune moved to the Shawnee area 43 years ago from Redding, California. She was affiliated with the Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee and had worked as a caregiver, nanny and housekeeper for many years.rnrnSurvivors include two daughters and sons-in-law: Teddie and Thomas Gamel of Garland, Texas and Lynn and Bill Goodnight of Shawnee, Oklahoma.rnrnThree sons and a their spouses: Frank Aaron Mills of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Randy Mills and Kathy Boyd of Shawnee and Paul Mills and Alanna Couch of Shawnee.rnrnTwo sisters and a brother-in-law: Linda and Edward Parks of Woodland, Washington and Jaxine Kennedy of Woodland, Washington.rnrnThree brothers: Walter Blaine of Vancover, Washington, Bern Blaine of Woodland, Washington and Richard Blaine of Longview, Washington.rnrnAlso surviving are numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.rnrnJune is preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Teresa Marie Rowton who died on May 31, 2004 and by one great granddaughter, Bailey Breanne Harlin on November 21, 2000.rnrnA Celebration of June's life is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June, 13, 2007 at Wesley United Methodist Church in Shawnee.
