Julia Ellen Ellis

Julia Ellen (Romine) Ellis, 81 Julia Ellen Ellis a longtime Seminole resident passed away, Wednesday June 8, 2011 at Shawnee, Oklahoma she was 81 years old. Julia was born July 2, 1929 at Manitou, Oklahoma to parents; Willie C. Romine and Madaline Elizabeth (Murry) Romines. Julia was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith. Julia married Elvin Ellis in November 1971, he preceded her in death. Julia is survived by; daughter-in-law Nelda Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma, three grandsons, Ricky and his wife Christy Robertson of Lafayette, Indiana, Shane and his wife Kerry Robertson of Seminole, Oklahoma and Travis and his wife Londa Robertson of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Chip and Dianne Finch of Boone North Carolina and Jamie and Tom Fahey of Atlanta, Georgia Also surviving Julia is step-daughter, Brenda and her husband Bill Finch, nine great grandchildren, Brock, Sienna and Cole Robertson all of Lafayette, Indiana, Jacob Blalock, Andrew Robertson, Gage Robertson all of Seminole, Oklahoma, Tyler Beard of Deer Creek, Oklahoma, Addison and Jackson Robertson both of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Callie and Summer Finch of Boone, North Carolina, and Lillian Fahey of Atlanta, Georgia.  Julia is survived by two great great grandchildren, Raylee and Tevin Blalock, one sister, Josie Francis and her husband Durwood Maybee of Seminole, Oklahoma, niece, Set Hastings and friend Linda Barnes. Julia was preceded in death by her parents; Willie C. and Madaline Elizabeth Romines, husband, Elvin Ellis, one daughter, Madaline Carol Robertson, one son, Rick Robertson, one brother, Willie Charles Romines. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 13, 2011 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with Mike Roberts officiating. Internment will take place at Little Cemetery, Seminole County, Oklahoma. Serving as casket bearers; Ricky Robertson, Shane Robertson, Travis Robertson, Andrew Robertson, Gage Robertson, Jacob Blalock and David Horton.
