Juanita Robertson (Wood) Knoles

Juanita (Wood) Robertson Knoles, age ninety-seven and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life on Friday, December 3, 2010, at Heritage Village in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 6, 2010 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.  Rev. Mitch Williams, Pastor of Byng Assembly of God Church will officiate. Juanita was born on September 20, 1913 in Hazel, Oklahoma to Jessie (Norris) and Bob Wood.  She married Johnny Robertson in 1921 at Hazel, Oklahoma, and she was a Licensed Practical Nurse.  Juanita was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed life and being with people, going to dances, traveling, fishing, and cooking. She is survived by one son, Bobby Ellis Robertson of Choctaw, Oklahoma; one daughter, Jane Hirn and husband, Frankie of Seminole, Oklahoma; one brother, Leon Wood of Sulphur, Oklahoma; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie and Bob Wood; two sons, Darrell Eldon Robertson and Harold Eudon Robertson; one granddaughter, Jay Lisa Wagoner; one grandson, Billy John Brazell; one brother, Lonzo Wood; and five sisters, Louella Mensay, Lillie Griffin, Idel Wood, Velma Milsap, and Lois Pyke.
