Juanita Jean Cumpton

Juanita Jean (Neel) Cumpton, 84 year old lifelong Seminole, Oklahoma resident, passed from this life on Saturday, March 19, 2016 at her home in Seminole.  She was born November 21, 1931 in Kilgore, Texas to parents, Willie Wayne Neel and Pearl Violet (Stutz) Neel. Juanita graduated from Seminole High School. She worked for Big Yank as a pants inspector and then at Wrangler in Seminole as a material inspector. Juanita was of the Baptist Faith and was a member of the Twin Oak Baptist Church. On June 24, 1950 Juanita married Paul Cumpton. Survivors include two daughters, Vicki Brumley of the home, Debra Cumpton of the home; one brother-in-law, John Cumpton; one sister-in-law, Judy Neel; two granddaughters, Keri Rana Harris and her husband Bryan, Jayme Marie Johnson and her husband Billy; two great grandchildren, Cheyenne Marie Johnson and Jacob Ryan Johnson; two great-great grandchildren, Clinton Eugene Johnson and Danny Bryant Johnson; and a host of other family and dear friends. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, Paul Cumpton who died August 21, 1980. Memorial services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at the Temple of Praise Church located at 1100 University Ave. in Seminole, Oklahoma with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating the service.
