Juanita Cornelison, 84, former longtime Seminole resident died , Thursday, January 3, 2013 in Lufkin, Texas. Juanita was born August 21, 1928 in Alma, Arkansas to Newton and Odessa ( Watson) Meeks. Mrs. Cornelison was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Seminole, Oklahoma.She had moved to Lufkin, Texas several years ago, to be near her son Wade. Mrs. Cornelison is survived by her son Wade Cornelison and his wife Cindy of Lufkin, Texas; her grandsons Garrett Cornelison of Houston, Texas and Daniel Cornelison and his wife Alisa of Little Rock, Arkansas. She is also survived by her great grandson, Greyson Cornelison, Griffin Cornelison and Gaven Cornelison all of Little Rock, Arkansas. Mrs. Cornelison is survived by her brothers Bill Meeks and his wife Marge of Shawnee, Oklahoma and Jack Meeks and his wife Margie of Seminole, Oklahoma, a sister-in-law Bonnie Cornelison of Seminole and former sister-in-law Lola Davisson of Seminole, Oklahoma, along with several nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren. Mrs. Cornelison is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harvey Cornelison and her son Steve Cornelison. Funeral services are planned for 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at the Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, Oklahoma, with Rev. Marvin Kehl officiating.
