J.T. Heard, 84 year old Konawa resident passed from this life Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Unity North Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma. He was born January 1, 1923 in Seymour, Texas to parents James Tillman Heard and Ruby (Walling) Heard.rnrnMr. Heard was a rancher and a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church.rnrnSurvivors include one daughter, Stacey Heard of Hinton, Oklahoma.rnrnOne brother Ivan Heard of Del City, Oklahoma.rnrnTwo sisters, Mae Mullins of Konawa, Oklahoma and Polly Hill of Ada, Oklahoma.rnrnOne grandchild and two great grandchildren.rnrnGraveside services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Lone Dove Cemetery with Rick Hudson officiating.rnrnHonorary Bearers will be; Tony Kuestersteffen, Donnie Hill, Bill Raines, Stanley Johnson, Bud Moore, Joe Peeper, Lee Bowlen, Chuck Lancaster and Roger Lancaster.rnrnServices are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home - Seminole, Oklahoma.
