Joyce Ann Williamson

Joyce Ann (Dinwiddie) Williamson, 62 year old lifelong Seminole County resident passed from this life Sunday, November 15, 2015 at Oklahoma Heart Hospital North in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  She was born in Wewoka, Oklahoma on August 10, 1953 to parents John Calvin “J.C.” Dinwiddie and Bertie Lou (Wilkerson) Dinwiddie. On April 5, 1974 she married Jerry Wayne Williamson in Ada, Oklahoma. Joyce was a homemaker and a stay at home mom.  She loved taking care of her little Chihuahua, “Peanut,” and feeding humming birds.  Joyce enjoyed watching the OU Sooners and Dallas Cowboys football teams.  She also enjoyed watching “NCIS” and “Wheel of Fortune”.  Joyce loved her family with everything she had, and she especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  You could often catch her making crafts and she was always painting her finger nails and toe nails. Joyce leaves to cherish her memory her husband of 41 years, Jerry Williamson of the home in Seminole, Oklahoma; three sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Ray Williamson and his wife Renea of Seminole, Oklahoma, Paul Wayne Williamson and his wife Shana Inslee of Seminole, Oklahoma, Jeremy Duane Williamson and his wife Jessica of Seminole, Oklahoma; four brothers, Jimmy Dinwiddie of Seminole, Oklahoma; Johnny Dinwiddie and his wife Dana of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Jeff Dinwiddie and his wife Sheila of Bowlegs, Oklahoma, Jerald Dinwiddie and his wife Rachel of Seminole, Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren, Josh, Jessica, Jordan, Brian, Brooklyn, Colby, Devon, Jayce, Kaleb, Brayden, Jasmine, Jerry, Stoney and Heavenly; two great-grandchildren, Journey and Evelyn; Joyce is also survived by a host of other family and dear friends. Joyce is preceded in death by her father, “J.C.” Dinwiddie, and by her mother, Bertie Dinwiddie and by two brothers, Joel Dinwiddie and Jerry Lee Dinwiddie. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:30 p.m., Thursday, November, 19, 2015 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, Oklahoma.  Interment will follow at Wolf Cemetery with Mickey Shaw officiating the service. Casket Bearers will be: Jordan Moreno, Roy Mcausland, Rick Leahy, Casey Hilton, "Little Jimmy" Dinwiddie and Josh Dinwiddie. Honorary Bearers will be: Devon Williamson, Jimmy Dinwiddie, Jeff Dinwiddie, Randy Figley, Brian Williamson and Colby Murphy.
