Joyce Petit

Annetta Joyce Petit, 73 Annetta Joyce Petit former Seminole county resident passed away April 17, 2012 at the age of 73. Joyce was residing in Jacksonville, Florida at the time of her death. Joyce was born, June 27, 1938 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to parents, Woodrow Merle Foster and Ruby Mae (Marchant) Foster. Joyce moved from California to Seminole where she was a resident for 41 years. Joyce retired from the Seminole county school system, she was a member of the Maud Assembly of God and the Oklahoma Teachers Retirement System. Joyce married Bonnie I. Petit on October 10, 1953 in Archer City, Texas. Bonnie preceded her in death on November 4, 2007. Joyce is survived by one son, Jimmy W. Petit of Pottsboro, Texas, one daughter, Sherrie L. Griffith of Jacksonville, Florida, one sister June Douthit of Seminole, Oklahoma, four grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Graveside service for Joyce will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 20, 2012 at Little Cemetery with Rev. Tim Martin officiating.
